So far I've used Moth for a couple of different projects: plotting weather in San Francisco and finding good "trade routes" in an online game.

Weather in San Francisco

I live in San Francisco so I decided to download the weather statistics to get a better feel of what to expect. The raw reports are parsed by a perl script and stored in a MySQL database.

Trade Routes in Merchant Empires

Merchant Empires is an online game where each person is the pilot of an interstellar trading vessel. There's a lot more to the game than just flying around buying and selling, but that's as much as I played it.

I hand-entered (ugg..) a bunch of information that I gathered, and then tried to come up with different theoretical ways of looking at it, in the hopes of finding tasty routes.
